“Wing CEO Urges Congress to Establish Clear and Practical Drone Regulations”

Wing CEO Adam Woodworth took the stand in front of Congress to advocate for drone regulations that support commercial operations and American leadership in the industry. Woodworth presented nine points for Congress to consider in the FAA Reauthorization Bill, including the need for a regulatory framework that is “predictable and pragmatic.” He also called for a target for an “acceptable level of risk” to help UAS operators develop appropriate safety cases and for the expansion of Remote ID to include Network ID technology. Woodworth emphasized the importance of a regulatory framework that will enable companies like Wing to bring the benefits of drone technology to communities across the country.
