“Aerial Views Showcase Advancements at Stockbury Roundabout, Connecting M2 and A249 in Sittingbourne”

New drone footage and images have revealed the progress of a £92 million flyover project at the Stockbury roundabout in Kent. The roundabout is a key junction for traffic travelling between Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Maidstone, and the upgrade aims to reduce congestion on the busy A249. Newly remodelled link roads have already opened, and the project includes a flyover for traffic heading to and from Maidstone and Sittingbourne. However, the latest work will see Chestnut Street and Maidstone Road closed for two months to allow for work on the new link to Oad Street. There will also be further closures along the A249 this week.
