“Outrage in Russia as Ukrainian Drone Violates Airspace and Invades Privacy of Citizens”

Residents of Kireyevsk, a small town in Russia, were left shocked and angry after an alleged Ukrainian drone was downed over their houses, causing damage to roofs and ceilings and putting lives at risk. “It’s absolutely outrageous to shoot it down over a residential area. There’s a field just 500 metres from here. They could have shot it down over there. Why over our houses? People were wounded,” said one resident. The Russian Defence Ministry said it had electronically disabled the drone, which crashed onto Kireyevsk, a town of about 25,000 inhabitants 220 km south of Moscow. Emergency services said there was a large blast crater and three people had been hurt, none seriously.
