Amateur drone enthusiasts in Ukraine are building deadly tankbuster drones at home, which can take on Russia’s forces. These game-changing weapons cost just a few hundred pounds to make and can destroy battle tanks worth millions.
The makers use 3D printers, parts from China and their own custom designs to create the drones. They then strap them to a rocket-propelled grenade, turning them into precision guided missiles that can hunt and destroy moving vehicles at over 100mph. Ukraine has also been able to use drones donated by cigarette smugglers to aid their cause.
