Air League and Eagle Eye Innovations offer a new scholarship for drone operators at Beeches Farm Airstrip in Newark.

The Air League, the UK’s leading aviation and aerospace charity, has partnered with Eagle Eye Innovations to offer eight drone scholarships to young people interested in pursuing a career in the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) sector. The scholarship will provide successful applicants with an A2 Certificate of Competency, which will allow them to fly drones close to people and in challenging locations such as built-up areas. The scholarship will open doors to various sectors, including aerial photography, videography, surveying, inspection services, agriculture, and more. The course is scheduled to take place on August 29 at Beeches Farm Airstrip in Newark and will include full board and accommodation. The scholarship is open to UK citizens who are 18 or over by August 18 and are Air League Members. Applications are now open and will close on June 11.
